I’m not going to say i know EXACTLY how you feel, but im going to say that i can somewhat relate. I dont have many “girl” friends. i dont see the point in why we always drool over guys, and such. i dont see the point in much of it. most of my friends are guys, and i feel more comfortable around them, ya know? most girls are all “omg, he’s sooo hot” or, glare at me when i get dirty playing football with the rest of the guys. i’ve always been one of them. i dont wish to be a guy, i just wish that the other girls would accpet me, and i wish that my friends would quit trying to change me into barbie. >=(

i think we’re both lost in this world, personally. i dont really like girls that much, they always cause drama, and talk about doing stuff about it, but they neevr actually do. and we always cry about every thing, and have to be all serious and such, and then, i go and get fussed at cuz im not like that. we’re titled to be our own person, and if you’re more comfortable hanging out with all the guys, so be it.

    hope i helped…..friend. :)

hey, this ‘wrong body’ thing is not too uncommon. ask again, in the LGBT section, and ask for advice from FTM transsexuals. you might find someone to talk this through with you.

I don’t think you were born in the wrong body. I just think you need to continue learning more and more about yourself…that way you can love yourself, and learn to love others just the same.

    Be who you are.

    Good luck.

You’re just becoming yourself. And that’s great. Some people take a long time to accept it.

This sounds like Gender Identity disorder, although to be fair most psychologists don’t treat is as a disorder. Or rather, treat it as a disorder that can be treated by gender reassignment surgery…. The most common name is transexuality. So, yes, there are many people who go throught this or at least this sounds almost exactly like transcripts I’ve read of their experiences (there’s a section in here in Society And Culture if you’d like to check). And yes, it’s a genuine thing, typically the brains of transexuals are more similar to the opposite sex than their genetic sex, etc.

Sometimes, for some people, these feelings stop, most often not.

Yes , I felt that way for some time .I was a tomboy also but I grew out of that stage but i still like boy’s sport. It is our genetics make-up that make us like that is sounds as though you have a lot of male hormones in your body. You be okay and you should grow out of it.

I can absolutely relate. I’m in the same situation. You sound just like me! I’m a gay female-to-male transsexual. Basically, a guy trapped in a girl’s body who is attracted to guys. It happens. You might get a better response if you placed this in the LGBT section here… anyway you aren’t alone, and transition (into a guy) is possible if you’re willing to give up a lot for it.

The world doesn’t take kindly to our kind, but if you truly are trans, you’ll find that it only gets harder to live as a gender you don’t identify with, and eventually you get to a point where it becomes unbearable. The answerer above is right, transpeople are typically diagnosed with Gender Identity Disorder, though whether it should really be considered a mental disorder or not is currently up for debate…

The process starts with finding a good gender therapist who has experience with transpeople. From there, you can get hormones and surgery to physically transition into a man. Anyway, if you want to e-mail me, my address is listed in my profile. Good luck to you.
