Does being attracted to transgendered women make you gay?
Tons of questions! asked:
I dated a woman of very passably transsessuale when I was in the army. The door to barracks, none of my friends would even say. If the deal during all my years that I have never even given the thought of doing such, but when I met her I was very attracted to not only her looks but her personality as well. We weren 't announced until about 6 weeks into our relationship and I honestly thought it was very erotic and something that excited. On the one hand I don 't be deemed as gay just because the thought of being with another really doesn' t does for me. What is your take on this? Yahoo IM is viagrapuddin

No, you’re definitely not gay. You were attracted to a woman and to feminine characteristics. If it turned you on that she had a “secret,” maybe it’s just because it was something new and different. Or just based on your attraction to her.
Either way, if you’re not normally attracted to other men, you are not gay.

you should be more worried about not being gay. you’re in the army for crying out loud, surrounded by thousands of fit young men. think of the trans. as a catalyst.

ummmmhuh seriously i think its confussion, u SEE it as a woman, u would never mess witha guy BUT u probably get a kick out of it being dofferent than a woman so to answer ur question….yes u are gay BUT not to the point to mess with a guy. i am bi BUT after me and my girl split thats it im done, so yes i am gay even though i try not to admit it fully by looking at it a different way! What ever floats your boat!!

When you say trasnsexual do you mean pre-op or post? I do think that makes a difference.
Regardless, if she was pre-op then you were involved in a homosexual relationship. I don’t think that makes you gay though.
If you find that you are only attracted to women with extra appendages, then I don’t think you would be considered straight.
Regardless who cares, sexuality can’t be put into neat little boxes for everyone.

I believe, that this would make you gay. Just to be sure, when they are transgendered, that means that they are in the process of becoming male to female right? So realisticly you are just dealing with a man that appears to be female, however, is biologically male regardless of the physical makeup. And please be very careful in choosing who you want to know the truth about your “lady” friend there in the Army. Your situation sounds awfully similar, to another PFC that was in the Army and was dating a transgendered and was killed for it by a fellow PFC. Anyway, Good Luck with the relationship.

You used the term transgendered and transsexual, so I am a little confused if the original equipment was still intact.
Did this person still have a penis? Then you are gay. Nothing wrong with that, but you have to be true to yourself. At the very least, you’re bi.
If we’re talking about Post-Op, then what you really have is a “woman” (on the outside) who has the sexual peculiarities of a man (on the inside). While the thought of a woman having the sexual mindset of a man can be appealing to a some men, I think you’re attracted to women, but you’re fooling yourself, because, to put it bluntly, you’re still sleeping with a man, albeit a surgically and chemically altered one. And once again, if it’s working for you, that’s great.
I’ll say this much about the tranny: he IS gay, no doubt about it, in my opinion. If anyone wants to dispute that, then by the same logic, every straight man is a lesbian

if you get turned on by the fact that your lover is a man then you are gay hello if you didnt know and found out during forplay then i’d say oh crap but it seems you knew and if you were aroused then you are gay

I am a CD, and by definition, no it does not make you gay. Gay men DO NOT LIKE WOMEN. You on the other hand are attracted to the feminine personality, regaurdless of the plumbing. You are what I term almost bi, just like most t-girls, it has to at least look female. When my friends and I go to gay bars, we are mostly ignored. When we go to lesbian bars, everyone is friendly. See a pattern there??? It is the perception of femininity. Since you are attracted to the female form and have no desire for a male partner, you are not gay (homosexual), you are almost bi.
